How do you service the needs of 4,500 people as a young growing organization?

The Objective

To develop a partner portal that would give VARS across the US access to permission based documents, information, products, training and forums. Encourage users to use the site as a resource and implement tools that will keep them coming back.

The Strategy

  • Design an interface that meets the needs of the various members login into the site and quickly demonstrates the information that is available through the portal.
  • Create an easy to update environment where Level Platforms can post documents, products and other information.
  • Include unique elements that will encourage users to come back to the site on a regular basis.

Strategic Process

Level PlatformsArchitecture: based on our understanding of the audience and the goals determined by Level Platforms, we put together an architecture that would quickly demonstrate the categories of information available to user.

Design: Based on the architecture, Fenix developed a user interface that was based on functionality and ensured that users could easily navigate the site without any confusion.

Development: As a young growing organization Level Platforms required a solution that would do a lot of the work for them. We first implemented a content management solution that would allow anyone in the organization to update the content on the site quickly and efficiently. Other custom features were then added to extend the functionality of the site. Forums, polls and online case submissions gave users a was to communicate directly with Level Platforms, Calendars and event registration allowed user to sign up for training and personalized content made sure that all audiences received the correct information.

Analyze: Fenix developed measurement instruments to ensure that Level Platforms received notification of user activity, document downloads and inactivity. This provides reps all the information they need to make decisions regarding their VARS.

Results

The partner portal saw incredible traffic when first launched and signed up 4,500 active users within the first 6 months.
